Natasha and Lucas’s wedding at House on Haines was one of those celebrations that reminded us why we love what we do.

When they first came to us, their vision was beautifully clear. Classic black and white. Timeless and elegant. There was one detail that made this brief particularly special though. We had previously styled the groom’s sister’s wedding in a very similar palette. And to be trusted by siblings is one of the greatest compliments we can receive as stylists. It also meant we felt a quiet responsibility to make sure Natasha and Lucas had a day that was entirely their own.

We kept black and white as the foundation but introduced warmer mocha and nude tones throughout to give the design its own personality. That subtle shift made all the difference, honouring the palette they loved while creating something that felt distinctly theirs.

House on Haines is a venue with incredible character. Its raw, industrial bones are beautiful, but they called for a considered styling approach to bring the warmth and romance a wedding deserves. We made the ceremony the hero of the space, using romantic flowing fabric to frame their I dos and soften the architecture around them. Creating a ceremony installation that draws the eye and anchors the emotion of the moment is always something we are drawn to, and this space was the perfect canvas for it.

The cocktail reception gave us the opportunity to do what we love most. Layering a space with intention and quality. Through carefully selected linens, gorgeous florals and the warm glow of lamps across every table, the room was transformed into something that felt considered, textured and genuinely warm.

House on Haines has quickly become a favourite venue of ours. Natasha and Lucas’s wedding is a beautiful reminder of what is possible when couples trust the creative process completely.
