Busy Sydney-based couple Madeleine and Spencer reached out to us at The Modern Approach for help bringing their dream of a monochrome luxe garden party wedding to life. With careers that kept them busy, they wanted a wedding that was both elegant and modern yet didn’t have the time to dive deep into the details. As their Adelaide wedding stylist we were thrilled to step in and create a seamless, unforgettable experience for them.
The couple chose the stunning Goldings Wines as the venue for celebration, with the ceremony taking place in a nearby church. Their vision was clear: a chic, monochrome black and white wedding with a hint of modern elegance. They even drew inspiration from Millie Bobby Brown’s wedding, which led us to design a luxurious garden party vibe that matched their vision perfectly.
Upon their arrival at Goldings Wines, Madeleine and Spencer were greeted by a gorgeous champagne tower in the garden. This set the tone for the day—elegant, stylish, and full of life. It was the perfect way for the newlyweds to mingle with their guests before heading off for a stunning portrait session with their talented photo and video team.

One thing we loved about working with Madeleine was her passion for bows! She was truly a lover of this feminine detail and we made sure to incorporate them in every part of the design. From the wedding décor to the cake, bows were featured prominently throughout the celebration.
